Why KingSumo doesn't advertise giveaways

We don't publicly advertise giveaways, because we want giveaway creators to reach an audience that fits their demographic: quality entrants, not people who only want free things and don't care about the product or company giving it away.

How can I promote my giveaway?

  1. Open your list of giveaways from Dashboard and click Promote next to the giveaway.
  2. Share it with Share on Facebook, Send as a message, Post on X or Copy Link.
  3. Put it on your site with Embed the giveaway on your website or a website badge. See How do I embed a giveaway on my website?

Entrants spread it too: each gets a personal referral link and earns 3 entries per friend who enters and confirms. Add bonus actions such as following you, so entrants help you grow. See How can people enter my giveaway?

Troubleshooting

My giveaway isn't getting entries

Check that visitors can see it: until your email is verified, your giveaway isn't public. See Why is the URL page for my giveaway not working?

Entrants say their referrals don't count

A referral counts once the friend confirms their entry by clicking the link in their confirmation email. Friends who enter with Google count right away. Ask your entrants to remind friends to confirm.
