How can I delete a giveaway in KingSumo?

Open your list of giveaways, click the dropdown next to the giveaway and choose Delete. You can delete a giveaway at any time on every plan.

How do I delete a giveaway?

1. Open your list of giveaways from Dashboard.
2. Next to the giveaway, open the dropdown (next to Promote).
3. Click Delete.
4. Confirm with OK when asked "Are you sure you want to delete this giveaway?"

You'll see Giveaway deleted! The giveaway disappears from your list, and its page shows visitors a "not found" page (see Why am I getting a 404 error on a giveaway?).

Before you delete

• Download your entrants first: once the giveaway is deleted, you can't export them. See How can I obtain the emails of my giveaway's entrants?
• If you only want to stop new entries, change the end date in the giveaway editor instead of deleting it.

I can't delete my giveaway

If your account is suspended, you can't delete or edit giveaways. See Why has my account been suspended?

Nothing happens when I click Delete

The giveaway is only deleted after you click OK in the "Are you sure you want to delete this giveaway?" box. If you click Cancel, nothing is deleted.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I undo a deletion?

There's no undo button. Email support@kingsumo.com if you deleted a giveaway by mistake.

Can I reuse a giveaway instead?

Yes. Choose Duplicate in the same dropdown to copy it into a new giveaway.
