How do I use the KingSumo API and access tokens?

The KingSumo API is part of the Lifetime Plan. Find your API secret, OAuth clients, access tokens and the API documentation under Account → API.

What's on the API tab?

API Secret — "Use this key to authenticate your API requests. Keep it private." Click Copy to copy it. It also signs the purchase-tracking pixel of referral campaigns.
OAuth & Access Tokens — create OAuth clients and personal access tokens for your integrations.
Documentation — click View API Documentation for the full API reference.

How to open the API tab

Click Account in the top menu.
Open the API tab.

The API lets you read your giveaways and their contestants, and add contestants to a giveaway. To export entrants without the API, see How can I obtain the emails of my giveaway's entrants?. See the documentation for endpoints and examples.

Can I use the API on the Free plan?

No. The API needs the Lifetime Plan.

Do contestants added through the API get entries?

No. They're added without entries, so they can't be drawn as winners unless they earn entries.
