How can I integrate my email marketing tool to KingSumo?
Connect your email marketing tool under Account → Integrations. SendFox works on every plan; Mailchimp, ConvertKit, Klaviyo and Zapier need the Lifetime Plan.
Which email tools can I connect?
KingSumo sends each new entrant of your giveaway to the email tool and list you choose. These are the tools on the Email Integrations card:

How to connect an email tool
- Click Account in the top menu.
- Open the Integrations tab and scroll to the Email Integrations card.
- For SendFox, click Connect and approve access. You'll see SendFox has been connected!
- For Mailchimp, ConvertKit or Klaviyo, paste your API key into the tool's API Key field and click Save Integrations. You'll see Integrations updated!
How do I send a giveaway's entrants to my list?
Connecting a tool doesn't send anyone yet. Choose a list for each giveaway:
- Open your list of giveaways from Dashboard.
- Next to the giveaway, open the dropdown and click Edit.
- In section 4. Integrations, pick a list for each connected tool. None means that tool gets nobody from this giveaway.
- Click Save.
From then on, each person who enters the giveaway is sent to that list. People who entered before you picked the list aren't sent: download them as a CSV instead.
Which entrants are sent?
If your giveaway uses 7. Marketing Consent, the tools treat entrants who didn't tick the checkbox differently:
- SendFox, ConvertKit and Klaviyo get only the entrants who gave marketing consent.
- Mailchimp adds entrants with consent as subscribed and the others as transactional contacts, who get no marketing emails.
- Zapier gets every entrant with a marketing_consent field of yes or no.

How does Zapier work with KingSumo?
Zapier connects KingSumo to thousands of other apps, and it works on the Lifetime Plan. Click Access Zapier on the Email Integrations card to open KingSumo's page on Zapier, then connect your KingSumo account there. Troubleshooting
The Email Integrations card shows Upgrade to Unlock
Your account is on the Free plan, which connects SendFox only. Mailchimp, ConvertKit and Klaviyo need the Lifetime Plan. If you already bought it and still see Upgrade to Unlock, email support@kingsumo.com with the email address you used on AppSumo.
New entrants aren't reaching my email list
Check section 4. Integrations of the giveaway: a tool set to None gets nobody. If the giveaway uses 7. Marketing Consent, entrants without consent aren't sent to SendFox, ConvertKit or Klaviyo.
"There was an error connecting SendFox."
The connection didn't finish. Click Connect again and approve access in SendFox. If it keeps failing, email support@kingsumo.com.
