How does the marketing consent checkbox work?
Tick Show marketing consent checkbox to entrants under Dashboard → Edit → 7. Marketing Consent. It works on every plan and decides who reaches your email tool.
How the consent checkbox works
- Entrants see one optional checkbox under the entry form: "I agree to receive promotional and marketing emails". The wording is fixed and shown in your giveaway language.
- Entrants can still enter without ticking it.
- If the checkbox is turned off, every entrant is recorded as having given consent. This keeps your email tools syncing as before.
How to turn it on
- Open the giveaway editor (dropdown next to the giveaway → Edit).
- In section 7. Marketing Consent, tick Show marketing consent checkbox to entrants.
- Click Save.
What changes in my email tools and CSV?

Troubleshooting
Every entrant shows Yes in the Marketing Consent column
The checkbox was off for that giveaway, so everyone was recorded as consenting. Don't treat that column as proof of consent for such giveaways.
Some entrants aren't in my SendFox, ConvertKit or Klaviyo list
They didn't tick the consent box, so they weren't sent.
