How can I get my personal data deleted from KingSumo?

Entrants can remove their email at kingsumo.com/gdpr. Owners can delete their account under Account → Delete Account. Both work on every plan.

How do I remove my email if I entered a giveaway?

Go to kingsumo.com/gdpr (Data Erasure Request).
Enter your email address and click Submit.
Open the confirmation email and click the link in it.

Your email address is then removed from every KingSumo giveaway you entered (see also How does the marketing consent checkbox work?). You'll see Email address removed!

If you have a KingSumo account

Click Account in the top menu.
In the Delete Account card, click Delete Account and confirm.
Open the email KingSumo sends you in the browser where you're logged in, and click the link.

You'll see Your account has been successfully deleted. This can't be undone. To remove only one giveaway and keep your account, see How can I delete a giveaway?

Troubleshooting

I didn't get the confirmation email

Check your spam folder. For entrants, the email is only sent if that address has entered a KingSumo giveaway.

The account deletion link doesn't work

Log in to KingSumo first, then open the link again in the same browser. If you can't log in, see Why can't I log into my account?

Can I ask support to delete my data instead?

Yes. Email support@kingsumo.com with the subject line "Data deletion request".

Does this remove me from a giveaway host's own email list?

No. If the host added you to their own email tool, ask them to remove you there.
